Seattle you are beautiful!!!! Austin and I took a long weekend away on Valentine's weekend to Seattle and stayed with Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle Downtown and it could not have been more perfect thanks to them. We arrived in the city to the sweetest treats and wine from the staff after a long day of traveling in the snow! We barely made it to our flight due to a snow storm and just walked right on the plane. I was pure anxiety until I was sitting in my seat! I'm so not into cutting it close people!!! We found the cutest little Mexican restaurant called Cactus Southwest Kitchen that night. What else would we do after a long day of travel other than find some Mexican food and a margarita to start the weekend? Favorite Weekend Spots:
Everything about our stay at Hotel Vintage was perfect! The downtown location was amazing and a short walk from Pike Place Market and all of the shopping, even a quick Uber ride to Capitol Hill area. The room service breakfast was healthy and over the top, just how I like it because I guess I am a spoiled brat :) The yogurt and granola had to be my favorite, you just can't go wrong. Also, can we talk about how huge our room was!? Normally in a downtown hotel the rooms aren't overly spacious but this one sure was; even the bathroom was large. Big enough to let our suitcases explode like they normally do and still be able to walk around it haha. Now I see why Seattle is the coffee capitol of the world. A Starbucks (or 3) on every corner, and boutique coffee shops to pick from for dayssss! No shortage of caffeine for us! One of our favorite spots had to be the Mr. West Coffee bar. Their aesthetic was so on point I could have cozied up in the corner there all day and watched people walk around in the rain. Speaking of rain, it was pretty much drizzly most of the weekend, but the sun was out to play and clear on our last day. Not bad for such a rainy area!! As we said our goodbyes for the weekend, we had the hotel driver pick us up in an all blacked out suburban and honestly felt like we were the Kardashians off for a flight to who knows were next. Could not have had better service!! Thank you, thank you to Kimpton Hotel Vintage Seattle for having us for a fun little getaway weekend, we will back!!!
This sweet spot in Seattle will forever hold a special place in our hearts! XX
