It's hard for us young ladies to not want to keep moving on in our lives. So much to look forward to in the future. Always. First it's to get to college, then it's to hurry and graduate, get a job, get engaged, travel the world, have THE prefect wedding, start a family. When does it ever stop? We need to be appreciating what is going on now and be present in what's happening, enjoy our progress every step of the way! It's hard not to look at others lives and push for that and rush into things without actually focusing on what we are working towards now.
I was reading in my devotional the other night and came across one that said it perfectly and totally put a focus on "The Season You're In." It's important that we don't miss what is going on in the present wether we are enjoying it or are learning from it. Every season has a purpose, however temporary. My favorite Bible verse says it perfectly: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens..." -Ecclesiastes 3:1 Slow down each day to embrace the good in your life, even the simplest of things. Overwhelmed? Focus on the peace of right now and take it one day at a time and love every moment of it :) In the words of Niebur's prayer: "living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time." I hope everyone has a lovely week! XO Haley

I could not agree more, it's always good to take time to re-focus and slow down :)
