Skin Tips + Red Lips

People ask me all the time if I am wearing makeup, or how much I wear. Here's the thing, I don't like wearing much makeup and like to wear as little as possible. When I find makeup I like, it's a pretty big deal! I have issues with makeup too and will wake up in the morning with puffy eyes and blotchy, dried out skin. 
Right now I am using Clinique's foundation made for combination skin. It's perfect for the transitioning weather, I am still dry, but the humidity makes my T-Zone oily. Also SPF 15!! Before I do anything though, I always moisturize with either Proactive or Clinique Dramatically Different gel (my all time favorite).
I always use Almay mascara since it is more gentle on my eyes and for sensitive skin, not to mention that it defines and lengthens my eyelashes like crazy!! On days I feel my eye lids are a little red I always make sure to use my Urban Decay Naked Basic Palette to even out my skin tone.
And, if I am really not feeling great about my skin I add a lip color! This red is sure to distract from any other face problem and brighten the white of your teeth :) 
Heres a couple skin tips:
  • The less makeup I wear the less irritated my skin gets and the less I end up having to wear, a win-win!
  • I am so bad a drinking enough water, so I bring my S'Well with me everywhere to stay hydrated
  • Sweat at the gym, get out all of the toxins and immediately wash your face.
  • Add more fruits and veggies to your diet, it really does make a difference in how happy your body is.
  • Moisturize!!!  Even if  you have oily skin!
  • Use products for sensitive skin or natural based products
  • GOLDEN RULE: Wash off your day before bed!!!
Embrace your face, seriously, we were all made different for a reason!
