This weekend, my sister and I convinced our parents to get a real tree! As kids we never had a real one and thought it would be fun to go pick out our own! We went to the Wonderland Christmas Tree Farm in Pea Ridge, AR, which is right next to the pumpkin patch we went to this year as well. What better way to end Thanksgiving break than starting a new family tradition at the cutest tree farm? Boog went crazy, he thought it was so fun running through the maze of trees and seeing other happy pups. They had hot cocoa and Christmas music playing all around, so fun!
After we had our tree atop the Tahoe, we picked out a fun little memorabilia ornament at the shop for the tree. An overall perfect afternoon to get in the holiday spirit!
And man, oh my! The smell in our house is wonderful! The prefect touch to our cozy holiday home :)
You guys, McGarrah Farms Pumpkin Patch in Pea Ridge is beyond cute! They had a hay ride, sunflower garden, white and orange pumpkin patches, a corn maze, games, and cute little donkeys! Also, looking to the future here, there is a Christmas tree farm right next to it! Maybe this year we will actually get a real tree instead of our pre-lit one hah!
I am ready for some cooler weather, but not too cold. Today was a hot 82 degrees and we were all sweating by the time we found our perfect pumpkins. Not gonna lie, I have a soft heart for the sad looking pumpkins with weird colors and odd bumps, it makes them more unique!
Now that we are back from Fall break, the house is decked for Fall, pumpkins and candles everywhere! Some of my most favorite scents are pumpkin and cinnamon apple (we are holding for the best of all though, Christmas scents!!). The next thing I know I will be drug to the miserable haunted houses and Halloween will be out of my way, phew haha!
