If you get the chance to even just drive through Sedona, Arizona in your life, don't skip out. The morning we were there, it had snowed apparently, by the time we got to cathedral rock it was nice and warm out; so weird but so nice! On our way to the park, we kept seeing hot air balloon baskets on the back of trucks and I can only imagine how cool that would be out there! I had no idea how rewarding the climb would be (because I have a huge fear of heights) until I truly got to the top and took in the full view. Austin always pushes me when he knows there is something I shouldn't miss out on, like going around on that ledge shown above, even though once you were on it, it wasn't small and scary haha! The view was breathtaking!! I love all of the red rock just randomly sticking up in the landscape through Arizona and yet you are also close to the mountains. Exhilarating and a day I'll never forget :)
I missed getting this up for Earth day, but one day late counts right? Our earth never ceases to amaze me, and what better way to enjoy it than by taking advantage of all of the adventures that await us! I may not be super outdoorsy, but I'm always up for a new adventure to push me or a good view/ hike. Every new place I come across my mind is blown by the beauty God created for us to live in!
Summer adventures are calling, let's finish this semester and explore!!
All of mountains were covered in these beautiful yellow wild flowers that I just wanted to run through barefoot (I would have if they weren't fenced off haha). I probably said they were "cute" way too many times, but they were! It was also crazy windy the whole week, so excuse my crazy, stringy hair! If you are going to be close to Malibu anytime soon, be sure to go to the Point Dume State Park area, gorgeous!
The entire week I felt like I wore denim denim denim on repeat, not complaining because it's one of my favorites, but it was the perfect weather for a jean jacket! Nice n' breezy ~
Happy Monday loves!
Tonight I'm sharing some of my favorite coffee places in NWA and ones that are often overlooked! Not that I don't loooove starbucks, but I love to support local businesses even more.
Kennedy Coffee Roasting Company: Basically anything! I have never not liked something at Kennedy. It's Bentonville's little kept secret. My go-to however is the Carmenilla hot, iced, or frozen! Sometimes though I can't pass up their famous Frozen Ryan which has a little too much sugar for my small body to handle haha! I even have a friend that hates coffee but goes just for their chocolate milk ☺️ Also I literally just found out they are opening a second location downtown and it totally made my day, maybe even week!!!!
Pressroom: Honey Vanilla Latte is all I have to say, might just be my favorite in the whole world! When I'm missing home I miss this too. I also love to go for their specialty food menu, always something healthy and interesting to try.
The Grounds at Garden Living: This place is hidden and way too precious! Oh and they have a good honey latte as well. Shopping and coffee? What more could I want!?
Cafe Imbibe: I drive by it all the time and had been wanting to check it out and I did the other day and was quite pleased! I had a seriously good hot cider! They have a huge menu and I can't wait to become a regular.
