Views I can't get enough of and fresh powder on the slopes each day, what more could I want for a ski trip!? I love that first ride up the mountain each day and soaking up the pure silence in the snow; so refreshing and peaceful. Austin and I stayed at a cute little AirBnb this last week in Fraser, Colorado for Spring Break (probably our official "last" spring break ever, so sad). Let me tell ya, he was so patient with me on the slopes, but pushed me to improve and adventure when he knew I needed to. So much so that we accidentally ended up in basically black trees, which I ended up having to walk through because I'm a hot mess, and finished out on a blue black! At least I can say I did it haha!!
My cutie roomie and her family were there as well which was so fun to get to run into them while on the slopes. Who would have thought the first time we all went four years ago that we would end up as besties and college roommates? :) ALSO!!! We officially started our YouTube Channel!! We are just getting the feel for all the video tech, but I am so dang excited about it! Be sure to subscribe to my channel and watch our first video to get a glimpse at slow-mo ski me and just a tiny fraction of all our laughs this last week! XX Haley Right after he said he couldn't wait to dunk me... I don't normally like to go under in rivers and lakes because I'm just weird like that. But convinced him not too :)
I have some sweet memories of blueberry picking from when I was little with my mom and sis, taking them home, and waiting for what felt like forever for the blueberry pie to finish so I could top it off with too much vanilla ice cream. Well as it turns out, my sister's new apartment is super close to Neal Family Farm and she saw the day before that they would be open for picking the next day!! At work all day, the only thing I could think about was making some blueberry cobbler.
We got there and they also had blackberries!! Which are my favorite, so it made it all that much better! It actually takes a lot longer to fill up those buckets with those little berries, and we couldn't help but eat them as we picked. And let's just say the entire night was a success because I wore my favorite white tee from Zara and didn't get any berry juice on it while picking and cooking :) I hope you all have a fantastic weekend & Father's Day! I can't believe I am just now getting this up! When I was in NY I happened to be there the same weekend of the Muses App launch and could not have been more excited to be invited! Muses is an app for bloggers and companies to collaborate and bring together new communities and friends in the blogging world. It was so fun getting to connect and meet people and brands face to face, take pictures, and grow together. I loved walking into the room and feeling that everyone there just gets each other, wanting to bring one another up in what we do. One of the brands there, Anjé Clothing, (the leather jacket I have on) was minimalistic perfection and all American-made products, which I love. They have a line that supports strong and fearless women as well! Go check them out!!
Thanks so much for having me in NYC Muses! *First 5 Photos provided by Muses
Us perfectly described in a picture. Me- way too excited, Austin- What are you doing?? Haha!
Also, here is the link to his hat!
All the surfer vans :)
All of mountains were covered in these beautiful yellow wild flowers that I just wanted to run through barefoot (I would have if they weren't fenced off haha). I probably said they were "cute" way too many times, but they were! It was also crazy windy the whole week, so excuse my crazy, stringy hair! If you are going to be close to Malibu anytime soon, be sure to go to the Point Dume State Park area, gorgeous!
The entire week I felt like I wore denim denim denim on repeat, not complaining because it's one of my favorites, but it was the perfect weather for a jean jacket! Nice n' breezy ~ Happy Monday loves!
