Who else gets tired of their workout routine like two weeks in? I'm always looking for new ways to vamp up my workouts and I think I found the perfect solution! The FitPlan app allows you to choose the right kind of workout for where you are in your fitness journey. At home, at the gym, or working on your cardio, it has everything!! I'm currently finishing up my first plan, the Lower Body & Booty guide with Jen Selter and it makes me so sore... I love it!!! It mixes the perfect amount of weight, body weight, and cardio workouts that I look for but pushed me to try new movements. It's also a fun little extra that some of the biggest fitness gurus teach on the app and it seems like you are working out with them, feels pretty bada** haha.
Use my code BEAT50 to get your first month free! It's only $10 a month which is the same or cheaper than a monthly gym member ship! Trust me, your body will thank you (after it's done being sore haha). Thanks FitPlan for sponsoring this post, seeing change in your body is something wonderful :) Leggings and top fromLululemon and on sale right now! 1. Queen's BathQueen's Bath was at the top of my list to go see before we arrived and remains at the very top of my favorite adventure spots in Kauai. As you hike down next to a waterfall (yes, waterfalls everywhere you look, a dream!) it opens up to a flat expanse of black lava rock that leads to the wild baths. If you love adrenaline, take the jump, but if you don't there are lower, calm baths further down to enjoy. Just watch out for waves, and don't miss the sea turtles! 2. Hideaway BeachHideaway beach is at the northern shore of Princeville. At the end of the residential roads, you walk to a path that takes you to a roped trail to hike down. Towards the bottom you walk through the tropical trees as they open up to a quiet beach of blues. Whether you want to soak up the sun or swim out and snorkel, this beach is the perfect little secret to hit up and spend the day at! 3. Turtle CaveLet's be real, I came to Hawaii to see all of the sea turtles. Finding it was pretty easy, but it's not really on the maps. Like most of the other beaches, you have to hike down to find the beach cave. This one is a bit more steep and adventurous! On the north side of Princeville, this cave can fill up with quite a bit of sea turtles looking for a place to rest and nest, so be sweet to their home. We waded through a little bit of water and walked through the mouth of the cave through to the other side that opened to a covered pool area where the turtles were sleeping. The earlier in the morning you get there, the more likely you are to see some of these beautiful creatures! 4. Na'Pali Coast Tour & SnorkelingJurassic World at it's finest, the Na'Pali coast has some of the most breathtaking mountain views on the island. Take a boat tour around the coast and see all of the famous movie scene spots, go through the ocean caves, and end your tour by jumping in to snorkel in that gorgeous blue water. We went through a spinner dolphin mega pod and saw a few hundred of them, so cute!! 5. Waimea Canyon WaterfallsSpend you morning hiking in Waimea Canyon to see the ever-famous waterfalls. The drive up the canyon is breathtaking and you are literally in the clouds. When you get to the top, there are lookouts to stop at or trails to hike down. It reminded me of a tropical Grand Canyon! The hike and the drive are SO worth the trip!! 6. Where to EatThere is cutest little Acai and smoothie hut off the side of the main highway called Kalalea Juice Hale and you must stop! It snuggles up to the side of a beautiful mountain and the fruits are to-die-for fresh! Pretty much fresh fruit is everywhere, so take advantage of all of the little fruit stands you see and juices offered by locals. One fruit you must try on the island is the white pineapple. So sweet and you can get it shipped to you once you are back home and missing all of the fresh fruit!
Another amazing restaurant to indulge yourself in is Ama. It offers amazing views in Hanalei Valley with outdoor seating and even better desert to end your evening with. |
