There really is no better time than now. To take in all the beauty around you in your day to day life. To appreciate all of the ones you love. To take that chance and go for that new job or book that solo flight. Every day is a new day to try something new, experience new things, so why not take advantage of what you have been given to truly experience life!
I've been getting more into Photoshop lately as a creative outlet and I'm loving it! Yes, it's hard and confusing, but there are random ways you can just figure things out and do multiple things with different tools.
Today I challenge you to SHINE! Find the good in what you day brings even if it sucks a little or a lot. Maybe you had your favorite iced coffee to start off you day, or saw one of your good friends while at the grocery store. Savor each happy moment, even just for a 30 second pause. Here a few more mindful ways to shine from the inside!
So so ready for our spring break trip to Winter Park next month! I can't wait to be in some real snow and re-teach myself how to ski haha! If you follow me on Pinterest you can probably tell I'm in such a mood to travel right now, but can you blame me from those mid winter blues??
Revamping some of my Pinterest and getting rid of all the old things I have saved from forever ago. Follow me for some fresh daily inspo! xx
New year, fresh inspiration am I right? Even though it is the dead of winter, I'm so looking forward to warmer weather, flowers, time spent outdoors, and of course wearing more white! I'm back and forth every day about weather I was to chop my hair off and I'm obsessed with the length of this pony (top right) right now! ☆
Beach time on my mind or basically any kind of sunshine! The colder it gets the more I crave the beach & a bikini. So naturally my Pinterest page is exploding with vacation inspiration and my shopping cart is full of this up & coming season of swimwear. I'm loving all the dainty little details from bows, to lace-ups and tassels!
Hey hey! It's been awhile since I have added a little inspo over here. Today I decided I didn't want to spend $30 on a new set of square calendar cards for my desk stand and designed my own! I created my own little calendar on a 5x5 photoshop art board and then layered a photo onto each month to make it more personal. You could totally save these pics and put them into something like Powerpoint and then crop out my pictures and add you own. Super easy, super cute!! Afterwards I printed them at Walgreens for only $4!!! Then I added a cute little clip at the top to keep them together and boom done! I think it would be super cute in all black and white too now that I think of it and kinda wish I did... maybe next year ;)
Fall textures and scents are some of my favorites! I am also a huge fan of all of the lighter fall hues this year like the light mauves and peaches! Shop some of the cutest harvest inspired styles for this season :)
I spent my first day of actual summer break doing nothing and had to move my creative juices in any way possible. I got on Pinterest and started to clean up my boards when I got inspired to make a collage in real life haha. So easy, so simple, and so fun to brighten up a wall or space in your home! I had some old magazines that I needed to get rid of and decided to make a little more use of them before I disposed of them. I chose to do my closet doors because they are boring and I didn't have a good spot on my walls to completely cover. Tip- Making the pictures different sizes gives it more interest and moves the eyes around your collage!
Literally all you need is:
Happy collaging! XX
I'm feeling the deep tropical greens thinking about summer right now. This heat wave has me dreaming of sandy toes and sunsets. I linked some of my favorite resort look items below to bring some inspiration for those getting ready for vacay! Not too sure what I'm up to this summer other than a trip next week to New York, which by the way I'm so excited for, but I'll figure it out soon haha!!
