Wake up ladies!!! It's time we start to realize that being YOU is what feels best, most natural, and most freeing. Yes, it's hard when we live in a world so saturated in comparison. Somedays I just literally have to tell myself to ignore it or forget about what other people are probably thinking about me when I post another blog and they just don't get why I do it. Not my problem that I love what I'm doing and they don't care or appreciate it!
Stay you, without feeling like you need to change your hair or wear a certain type of makeup.
Stay you, and buy that pink purse (that will actually go with your entire wardrobe;)
Stay you, and laugh at your silly mistakes.
Stay you, by paying attention to your deepest desires.
Do you ever just wake up on a Saturday morning ready to seize the day and have all of these creative juices flowing?! Yeah, me either usually. I often want to just relax and enjoy my morning, but took advantage of brainstorming, pictures, and scheduling for the upcoming week. Sunday night came around and I was happy to not have to do it then. Wouldn't it be nice if we always woke up with that energy to get things done??
I'm going to implement waking up just a little bit earlier before work each day as to take time to let myself be creative and see how it shows throughout my day. I have a feeling it will be hard at first, but bring me more positive energy throughout the day :)
Hey inspo page! It's been a while... as in like three months. Oops. Honestly most of my inspo has been put into my Pinterest lately. I wanted to hop on here and do something a little different!
On Sunday I turned 22! What!? You thought I was like 18 right!? Haha no and 22 feels kind of old but also so young. I created a list of 22 things I want to do this year. Personal goals to better my daily life, creativity, and, hopefully, those around me.
There really is no better time than now. To take in all the beauty around you in your day to day life. To appreciate all of the ones you love. To take that chance and go for that new job or book that solo flight. Every day is a new day to try something new, experience new things, so why not take advantage of what you have been given to truly experience life!
I've been getting more into Photoshop lately as a creative outlet and I'm loving it! Yes, it's hard and confusing, but there are random ways you can just figure things out and do multiple things with different tools.
Today I challenge you to SHINE! Find the good in what you day brings even if it sucks a little or a lot. Maybe you had your favorite iced coffee to start off you day, or saw one of your good friends while at the grocery store. Savor each happy moment, even just for a 30 second pause. Here a few more mindful ways to shine from the inside!
So so ready for our spring break trip to Winter Park next month! I can't wait to be in some real snow and re-teach myself how to ski haha! If you follow me on Pinterest you can probably tell I'm in such a mood to travel right now, but can you blame me from those mid winter blues??
Revamping some of my Pinterest and getting rid of all the old things I have saved from forever ago. Follow me for some fresh daily inspo! xx
New year, fresh inspiration am I right? Even though it is the dead of winter, I'm so looking forward to warmer weather, flowers, time spent outdoors, and of course wearing more white! I'm back and forth every day about weather I was to chop my hair off and I'm obsessed with the length of this pony (top right) right now! ☆
Beach time on my mind or basically any kind of sunshine! The colder it gets the more I crave the beach & a bikini. So naturally my Pinterest page is exploding with vacation inspiration and my shopping cart is full of this up & coming season of swimwear. I'm loving all the dainty little details from bows, to lace-ups and tassels!
Hey hey! It's been awhile since I have added a little inspo over here. Today I decided I didn't want to spend $30 on a new set of square calendar cards for my desk stand and designed my own! I created my own little calendar on a 5x5 photoshop art board and then layered a photo onto each month to make it more personal. You could totally save these pics and put them into something like Powerpoint and then crop out my pictures and add you own. Super easy, super cute!! Afterwards I printed them at Walgreens for only $4!!! Then I added a cute little clip at the top to keep them together and boom done! I think it would be super cute in all black and white too now that I think of it and kinda wish I did... maybe next year ;)
