Now that the temperature has officially dropped here in Arkansas, I will take everything I can to keep myself warm! I spent the last weekend out in these Lugz boots and did NOT take them off. It was in the 30's all weekend and nasty, drizzly out, and then snowy on Monday. I also, got so many compliments on them; not your average bootie! Maybe I should get all my girls a pair for Christmas with all of the different styles they offer...?!?
The soft pink, water-resistant faux leather color is so me and the faux fur collar at the top is soooo soft, the perfect winter touch. I'm usually a size 7 (they fit perfect) and sometimes can wear a 6 1/2 in shoes. For these I would recommend going up a half size if you are wanting to wear thicker socks for winter.
I love how comfy they are with their Flexastride Memory Foam insole and won't have to worry about falling on my slippery sidewalk outside my apartment with the slip-resistant rubber sole lol. I've been wanting a warm, hiking style bootie like this and I'm just obsessed!
The Empire Hi Fur Bootie has a lot of great features with a surprising price of just $69.99!!
Keep your shoe collection right on trend with the Empire Hi Fur bootie from Lugz. This lace-up features a water-resistant finish and a slip-resistant rubber sole that you can pair with anything from jeans to sweater dresses! You can shop the entire collection at your (select) local DSW store or online!
A big thank you to Lugz for sponsoring this post & supporting Haley's Dailies!
Stay warm friends! XX Haley
Finding what to wear to your Bridal shower is a bigger task than I thought it would be. Everything out there that is white tends to look too summery and is a sun dress or it could literally be a simple wedding gown. Not that either of those looks are wrong for a shower, depends on the feel and venue.
HOWEVER, my shower is going to be in February. The coldest of cold for Arkansas. So naturally, I ruled out wearing a dress, or at least a short one. I wanted something different to wear. Not that same old embroidered lace dress or fitted midi dress. Something I could be comfortable in no matter where the shower will be thrown or who I’m with, but want to look classy and very much a bride like.
Here’s where I tell you where to find the perfect piece… BHLDN! I’ve always. I mean literally ALWAYS, have loved their style and store. They offer amazing pieces from Wedding dresses, bridesmaid dress, accessories, lingerie, to Mother of the Bride dresses and party dresses. When Austin and I were in Seattle last winter, I was shopping in Anthropologie and they had a BHLDN boutique upstairs so I drug him up there with me to sneak a peak and you know drop a hint ;)
I came across this white tie up jumpsuit and bout fell over. THIS WAS IT! The perfect piece for me! Easy to wear, I’m obsessed with jumpsuits, and the ties are the perfect feminine touch that I wanted. Easy to style and make it my own with accessories and of course I had to pair it with a little something blue in my shoes. I love it so much, you might even see it come up at some other point along the engagement or even wedding... stay tuned!! :)
Thank you so much to BHLDN for sponsoring this post!

I tried these shoes on thinking ehh my feet probably won't look super cute in a square toe heel. Boy oh boy what I wrong!! No wonder they are so popular. I have fairly narrow feet and these are just so flattering and so affordable!! They are also super comfortable and honestly if they came in white or blush I'd wear these as my wedding shoes. Who knows I may even wear these for it!
I got these from one of my favorite local boutiques, Maude, (they aren't available online) but you can shop online and you can get 15% off your first order!! These heels are available here though and on sale for $20 & extra 20% off for cyber week!! This pair is super similar and I love the snakeskin..... probably gonna get them after the holidays :))))
XX Happy Tuesday loves!
Gimme a denim jacket and I can find 100000 ways to wear it. Seriously! I could go for one in any color too. Pink, white, black, lavender... you get the point. They look good on everyone and can be work year round, ugh just the best.
Also the best, is this hat. I'll never stop wearing it. It's so hard for me to find hats that actually fit or don't go all the way down past my ears. Having a small head is a struggle! I think the reason this style fits my head so well is that it isn't so tall and doesn't have such a large brim. Petite people trust me, huge hats don't look great on. They can become overwhelming for your body and head. Try to stick to some of these linked styles below and always check, is this brim too big??

My next trick to learn and perfect with my hair is seriously how to blow dry with the brush. I will probably always struggle with this because it's too much for my hands to handle. Maybe with this smaller one, it will be easier! I so envy the people that can blow dry their hair with a brush like a blow out and then not have to straighten or do anything else after. Mine always gets weird haha. More to come, we shall see if I can ever perfect the hair stylist trick :)
Thank you DIY Stylist for sponsoring this post! May my hair never be weird again while travling!
