Happy New Year! Holy cannoli was 2017 a huge and crazy year!! I am so thankful for all of the experiences and adventures that came along in the last year and I cannot wait for what is in store for 2018! I have a feeling it's going to be a good one. Hopefully even more travel and a lot more blog content :) I also really want to be more open in trying new things weather that is trying new foods (oooo or cooking classes), or pushing myself past some of my fears because I am such a wimp.
My main resolution this year is to slow down. Not to slow down life and all that it has in store for me, but with daily things. Sometimes I find myself rushed to get ready for work in the morning, or when I am at the gym. I think even if I give myself 10 more minutes in the morning, I would be able to slow down and enjoy that time a little more. I love being able to have a relaxed morning because I feel like that sets the tone for the entire day. I'm not necessarily a morning person, so this will be a challenge, but I'm willing to go for it!
Now that I won't be bogged down with school and homework in the evenings, I hope to be able to be more present in my life and with others. Finding quality time with friends and loved ones will definitely be high on my list!
If I was a sweater, I'd be this one. I saw it on H&M while Christmas shopping and couldn't pass it up. Who else does that while shopping for others haha? I'm obsessed with all of the chunky and unique sweaters right now; the perfect cozy statement for this awfully cold weather! You can shop both mine and Austins looks below :)
I love love love this marble phone case from iDeal Sweden! It's slim and sleek with all the right features, and on sale right now! They have so many cute prints to choose from and for any of your iPhone needs. I also got the tempered glass screen protector because I was getting scratches on my iPhone 8 much faster than my past iPhones and it was ALL I could look at. Use my code IDL4G for an extra 20% OFF your order! New Year, New Phone!
Thanks to iDeal of Sweden for sponsoring this post!
Okay, not actually on a run here (I did later) but I was out scouting locations with Austin for couple pictures he was about to take and mid pictures we saw a bald eagle!! Another one ended up with it too, just straight chillin' in the middle of a field. Pretty cool; I had to share!!
It had been so warm all season and the last couple days the weather has finally decided to be cold and now I want the warm back! Too cold for me to run outside sadly, which means more gym time and classes (which I love). My absolute favorite workout brand has got to be good ole Lululemon! So so soft, the leggings are never see through, and the sports bras are bomb. They're investment items you will wear forever and never get sick of. I'm obsessed with the Align pants and now I want them in the Submarine color, so cute! P.S. I'd like to admit that this is my first scrunchie since I was probably 7 and not gonna lie I love the dang thing.
Thanks Lululemon at Pinnacle Hills for sponsoring this post!
Okay, okay, the secrets out and I have teamed up with Lululemon to introduce you to the newest holiday shop in NWA!! It is located at Pinnacle Hills Promenade in the "diamond center" in Rogers. I got to see the before and after of the whole opening and now you get to see it too!
Little cutie knows how to pose :)
Looks amazing and has a great layout!
It's here and I couldn't be more excited to have my favorite workout brand here in my area! Lululemon will be open full time during this holiday season so be sure to catch them while out Christmas shopping, or just for yourself ;) My first picks were the Align Pant II *25" in black cherry, so soft and beyond comfy, perfect for going to yoga, to the mall, and brunch with the girls! I'm not normally a purple gal but I couldn't resist the Knot a Problem tee in Rose Quartz and it's so stinkin' cute I would honestly wear it with jeans and some sneakers too. Oh, and I can't forget the Uplifting Scrunchie to finish off my new gym look! I will be styling this soon for you all to see :)
Throughout their time here, they will be hosting events. I'll be sure to post ahead of time and plan to be at all the ones I can attend! It's a full Lulu shop for men and women so don't forget to shop for your guy there too. So many great items this season. I can't wait to see how amazing they will do in our area, it's been much needed!
Thanks to everyone who came out this weekend and thanks to Mike and the Lululemon team for having me opening day!

What kind of coffee shop closes early on a Saturday? Especially if it's called Weekend coffee?! Sad day because we were on the hunt and heard it was a super cute spot. Anyways, Austin and I ended up in the West End area of Dallas after that heartbreak of a football game and I couldn't stop twirling in this asymmetrical skirt! I love the mix of ruffles with the stripes and how easy midi skirts are to just throw on and go. I got this whole outfit from Hello Luvvy, the cutest little shop and know I will be wearing it a lot into the fall. I am also obsessed with this white tee because it's not so basic and goes great with anything! They also have it in black and both the shirt and skirt on sale for $18 each, what a steal!! I love all of their fun fall products coming in and need to stop by again for some cooler weather clothes.
Thanks Hello Luvvy for sponsoring this post!
Persoanlity pics? :)
Love me some fall flowers! Okay, any flowers but I'm ready for a change of scenery and weather here. It's been non stop upper 80's but all I want to do is wear denim and sweaters!! This jumpsuit, however, is holding me over because it's so stinking cute and comfortable! It comes in this black chambray and blue. Also it's on sale!!! It will be so cute with a tee or sweater underneath it once it finally cools down a bit.
I started out my Saturday with brunch at Arsaga's Depot and ordered biscuits and gravy, which I don't normally order but I was in the mood. I get it and it's no joke orange colored gravy. I was like whatever they like to make things a little different here I'm going to be adventurous. It was good, don't get me wrong, but who puts jalapeños in a traditional southern breakfast gravy with whatever else that makes it orange!? All we could do was laugh because that's what I get for switching up my regular foods all the time. I like to try new things okay!?
This fall I am teaming up with Timex in promising to take time to really be present in everyones lives around me, even mine. I want to challenge you guys to do so as well by remembering to take time and enjoy all the special moments, even the little ones like my orange gravy brunch date with Austin :) Time is the most valuable thing we have, we might as well not miss any of our life's most cherished moments! Timex sent me this beautiful rose gold watch and I can't stop wearing it! It is so light and comfortable, with the perfect touch of glamour! It also comes in blue and gold, super cute :)
Have a wonderful day & thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world!!
Thanks Timex for sponsoring this post!
Lets face it, we are all much more motivated to workout when we have cute gym clothes to throw on!! I love a fun pair of leggings and of course a comfortable yet supportive sports bra. Even better if I can show it off with a flowy top with cut outs. Wear Lively released their newest line today, the All Day Series 3.0 and I'm so in love! I have the All-Day Long-Lined bralette and I might never want to take it off it's so comfy and soft. Perfect to wear to the gym, class, or with a slouchy sweater! Shop from my page (yes, I have a page on their website & more to come on that this week!!!) on their site and get and instant $10 OFF your first purchase!! You will not be disappointed, trust me!!
