When someone asks me where my favorite place to buy comfortable bras is, I always have a round about answer of "well I like this fit here and this fit here... but I also like these!" Honestly, it's because what I wear under my clothes is so different depending on my mood and the occasions. I like to have options, ya know? :)
True & Co gifted me this nude set and weekend bra and I can honestly say that I LOVE THEM!! Supportive, and light, and I don't even think about the fact that I have one on, which is the whole point ladies!! They are having a major sale right now and the True Weekend Adjustable is on sale for $15 from $54!!! Such a steal. Their True Body Line is perfect for any shape and size, and has different cuts for what you need for your body. I love this V Neck bra and the underwear to match are all 3 for $33 right now. Don't miss out on this sale and find your perfect fit and styles using their quiz here.
Happy Sunday loves! xx
I can't get enough of the leaves and I can't get enough of this dress!! Shoutout to Austin, he picked this out for me for our 6 year anniversary (OMG SIX) and I'm obsessed with it because a.) it's Free People and b.) it's floral AND polka dot!! Ugh, he just gets me :)
Today I wanted to hop on here and talk about finding balance in your life. It's so, so important to make this a priority in your life. Even small steps toward balance can bring you happiness and content. The other day I heard a quote that really hit home with me:
"Balance is not something you find, it's something you create."
Here are a few tips on how to create more balance in your daily life:
1.) Health: Not just physical health, but mind and spirit too! Give yourself a break when you feel like life has been getting crazy, even if you have to just give yourself some alone time from the world. This helps me refresh more than anything!
I don't always eat super healthy, but I don't always eat take out. If I felt bad about what I ate earlier in the day, I try to make sure I find time to hit the gym. If I eat super healthy the next day, I sometimes give myself a break. My favorite way to balance healthy eating is by eating a healthy breakfast and lunch and then enjoying myself at dinner after a long day (but not going too crazy haha).
2.) Work: Having a good work life balance is super challenging when you don't draw a line. I'm that girl that would rather be early or on time to work than roll in late and have to stay at the office late finishing things up. I take time management seriously so that when I'm out of the office I can do whatever the heck I want and not have to worry about what I needed to finish!
3.) Setting Goals: At the beginning of each week, I sit down and write down my goals for the week in my agenda planner. Gym goals, blog goals, even me time goals. Being able to check off a list helps me to accomplish things and keeps me reminded of why I wanted to do a certain thing in the first place. Setting realistic goals is also incredibly important; sometimes you just need to start with your priorities.
Creating balance is hard, but with baby steps, your growth as an individual leads to security in your mental peace and well being. Try and start tomorrow with one part of your balance, and see how it slowly brings peace into every aspect of your life! You've got this girl!
Two words: Platform oxfords. How fun are these!? Madden Girl partnered with the up and coming artist Ezi to encourage individuality and fun when wearing your own style. She recently released a few new songs, one including DaNcing in a Ro0m, that I can't stop listening to! It's such a bop and her voice is seriously amazing! She is the premiere artist on Steve Madden’s record label 5 Towns Records, and has made a name for herself in the music industry. Go check her out right now! Or right after your read this whole post and watch my video at the end ;) She's on tour right now and it ends in January so don't miss out because Ezi is gonna be huge!
I'm always looking for fun but comfortable shoes that I can wear anywhere from work, to date night, or a fun night out and Steve Madden is always my go to! The Madden Girl X Ezi collection is the perfect fit. I think I also need the snake skin booties and pink sneaker for my closet this fall and winter. Honestly I could wear these comfy shoes year round!
They can be styled SO many different ways. These platform oxfords, for example, I will be wearing with jeans, business pants, skirts, and dresses. Also, who doesn't want to be a few inches taller on a daily basis!?
What I love about this line is that anyone can easily express their own style and individuality through just the shoes. Madden Girl is the sister brand of Steve Madden with a little bit of edge and youthful spirit, just like Ezi. She's not here to conform to a specific look or lifestyle, but inspiring girls to make a life for themselves that is fun and beautiful in their own way. Something I always try to embrace in my own life within myself and my brand.
Go check them out here and go check out Ezi's newest releases!

Happy Monday! I sure am soaking up the last bit of summer weather with every chance I get! My usual war with myself is coming: being excited for fall style, but not the cold weather. Lately, I don't leave the house without my Hari Mari flip flops. Either I have them on, or I know I'll be somewhere that I'll want to change into them. I love their little pop of color under the soft leather. They are seriously the most supportive and comfy flip flops I have ever owned! Perfect for lake days, going to yoga, beach trips, or just running around town!
You guys know I love a good cause too!! They also support juvenile cancer patients with their Flops Fighting Cancer program. Go check it out here,
I have today and tomorrow off and I am finally catching up on some blog posts for you all! Excited to share some big things coming up and some of my new favorite things for fall.
Thanks Hari Mari for sponsoring this post!
I don’t talk a ton about my fitness routine in this little world of mine, but today I am diving in a little to share how I like to keep a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
Do I make it to the gym everyday? Nope. Sometimes life just gets too dang busy to even go a few times a week. My goal is to hit the gym 4 times a week and at least be active in some way everyday. I just plain feel better when I get to move around!
If I’m too lazy to drive to the gym, I try to go for a run (weather dependent because I’m way too picky) or do a couple yoga sessions from Boho Beautiful’s YouTube channel - LOVE her!! I like to start out with a quick cardio and then focus on one area of the body with weights. I also have a solid cardio day once or twice a week. On the days I just can’t make myself, it’s because I realize that I actually need a day of rest more than I need to run a mile. It’s just as important.
I’m going to be honest here. One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to be able to do pull-ups… real ones. I have the smallest wimpy arms and once I quit dance I wasn’t able to do one anymore!! After working on it I can now say I can do a pull-up, or two ;)
Now to the other side of my balance. Food! I’ve never been someone who loves food and loves to eat; not that I don’t have my favorites I could eat all the time. I just never saw it as a form of entertainment, and maybe that’s why I can never make a decision on where we should go to eat haha.
Now that I cook more on my own, I like to focus on making sure I get enough protein, cut out more salt and sugar, but always, ALWAYS treat my self every now and then. You can’t be eating veggies all the time and not give yourself a break because that’s when a diet or lifestyle comes to a crash. Mix it up and have fun with it but don’t go over board, because that is what actually works.
And my #1 tip: Cute workout clothes. It works every. Single. Time.
I need this wallpaper and the art for the perfect little powder room!!
To say this day was full of adventure is maybe an understatement. All starting with an awful allergic reaction to an eye cream when I woke up... my eyes were puffy, dried out, and basically bruised which explains why I was hiding under my glasses.
Austin & I had a wonderful time at my absolute happy place, Crystal Bridges in case you weren't sure ;) Went for coffee and then headed to my parents house for dinner.
Nearly home and Austin backs the car up for us to see a precious puppy on the side of the road, so of course we HAD to help her!! Nobody around claimed her or was home, and the poor thing was so sweet and sleepy and not to mention that is was raining!! We ended up being able to keep it for the night at his parents and then posted all over for someone to find her owner. By Monday, someone said they wanted her and we were so happy that we were able to find her a forever home (even though in the moment it was so stressful because we couldn't keep her) instead of leaving her to wander lost in the rain!
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
