Welcome to Bentonville's newest museum addition, The Momentary!! With a pink terrazzo Onyx might I add a bit too excitedly! Anything for a cute picture am I right ladies?
The Momentary is a contemporary art space in downtown Bentonville, for visual, performing, and culinary arts.
They will feature the art and music of our time, with galleries for exhibitions, performances, artists-in-residence, festivals, and more. I'm so excited to see what all they willl be brining in. I'm already ready to go back!
Also, just like Crystal Bridges, this sister museum will be free general admission. LOVE THAT!
While we were there, they had concerts and performances to enjoy as well. Mary Lattimore, a harpist, played and it was so beautiful just walking around, soaking it all in with this amazing background music.
After her performance, we went outside to watch Bandaloop. They performed a suspension, vertical dance on the side on the tower!
To keep the night going, while you are there (or to start!), head to the Tower Bar for the best and highest view in Bentonville. Wrapped with windows and a hole in the middle of the bar floor that you can stand on and see all the way to ground floor, this bar gives major city vibes. Enjoy a glass of Rosé or a signature cocktail from their amazing bartenders and soak it all in. The perfect spot for a date night or girls night out.
A huge thank you to Soapbox Influence andThe Momentary for sponsoring this post and having a great night out! So excited to see what all this brings into the area and for many more events to come!
Started the night out with a little happy hour and cheese board at the Hive in the 21c Museum Hotel downtown and stumbled across this beauty. I can't pass up a seascape! Last that night I realized I didn't even take a moment to look at the artist or read about it. Who am I!?
*Makes Austin get up and take a picture immediately because I match it*
Linen obsessed!!! Especially somewhere warm and humid like in the Florida Keys! On our trip to Florida a few weeks ago awe took a couple days to drive down south to the Keys. Boy oh boy I'll never get over that crystal blue water down there. I could stare out the window the entire time during the drive and never fully soak it all up.
But boy was it hot! That's why I wore this super fun linen dress from Farm Rio! I love how vibrant all their prints are and soooo soft/comfortable! I love what they embody as a brand. Created in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, their mission is to create and embrace happiness. To enjoy loud colors, embrace hugs often, and soak up all the sun you can. That's my kind of life!!
They just launched their fall line and I'm eyeing so many pieces. I'm obsessed with their Stardust Slip Dress, Mixed Leopard Skirt, and the Jungle Cashew Mini Dress!
Thanks Farm Rio for sending me this pretty dress! XX Haley
This post is brought to you by Alba Botanica and the InfluenceHer Collective. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Haley's Dailies possible!
I get it, what girl doesn't feel more confident when their skin is nicely bronzed from the summer sun?? THIS GIRL DOES! And that is why I need a good sun protectant, and don't forget I'd prefer for it to feel and smell good. Who's with me!? Why is that so hard to find without being caked with chemicals that are actually worse for you than the sun itself.
Well ladies listen up... I found the PERFECT, dream, yummy, sunscreen. Alba Botanica is where it's at!! I've used it on those 95 degree weather with a UV of 10 kind of days and didn't get a burn, didn't feel a burn while outside, and came in feeling less sticky than ever before from a sunscreen. It smells so good that you won't feel weird about using it before Memorial Day or past Labor Day on a regular basis ;)
Our skin is so fragile, and as our biggest organ, we need to be taking as good of care of it as we possibly can. Alba Botanica is one of my absolute favorite green brands. I've been using them for years and they are more than just a green beauty brand. They support young girls by helping to provide education and strive to protect your skin and the earth.
Alba's Hawaiian Sunscreen Green Tea Lotion is SPF 45 and rubs on just like your daily body lotion. It is reef friendly, biodegradable, and free of any harmful fragrances or sulfates. It not only protects your skin, but nourishes it too and yet manages to be non-greasy. LOVE THAT!!
If you are more of a spray girl, their Hawaiian Sunscreen Clear Spray SPF 50 is just as amazing! It's earth-friendly, tropically-scented and also biodegradable. Gluten-Free and helps protect against sunburn, skin cancer, and premature signs of aging. Spray it on at any angle and you are good to go sister!
Summer may be about to wind down, but the sun never stops and neither should year-round sun protection! Keeping' it tan and keeping' it healthy, Alba Botanica's got my back (literally lol).
Right behind this cute outdoor mall area in Poipu, there was this beautiful little jungle area that led into a huge green field. Cannot get over Kauai's beauty!
All for mixing colors, even going into fall! It's still too hot here to actually wear full on fall clothes so I'm mixing up my wardrobe with bright fall colors while trying to keep cool. These Dolce Vita sandals are the perfect throw on for a casual day at work and add just the right amount of color to your outfit! Orange is definitely going to be huge this fall and I'm actually really excited about it; such a happy color!
You can't go wrong with this super soft off the shoulder dress from Olive + Pepper either for a fun date night or weekend look! I love everything that has a tie detail on it, especially if it accentuates the waist. :) It also comes in a dusty grey, which I'm kinda thinking I need that one too haha... I wore this dress probably like three times while in Hawaii because it was so easy and cute to put on for dinner or running out for lunch real quick. If the flight wasn't so long, I honestly might have worn it on the plane and been that person in the dress.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Bless the Jewish Holidays because I have another four day weekend!!
Thank you Dolce Vita for my favorite sandals and Olive + Pepper for the softest dress ever!
Day 1 in Kauai and I couldn't get over this islands beauty!! Chickens and flowers everywhere you look with mountains on your left and the beach on your right... oh and don't forget the rainbows :) I've been wanting to go to Hawaii for as long as I can remember. It's just a whole other world over there! Everyone is so relaxed and happy, eating fruit, and walking barefoot. Lemme tell ya, my kind of place!!
I searched forever for the perfect cover-up. I didn't want something boring and cheap, but I didn't want to spend $100 on something I'd wear for a little and throw in a bag later. This kimono is perfect! You can wear it open front with cute denim shorts, over a simple dress, or like I did with my bikini. Lightweight and breezy with perfect little tassels! I got this one at Marshall's for like $15 but I linked some super similar ones.
Stay tuned for a lot more of what we did and what I wore in Hawaii!! XX
How cute is this bus!? A little while back, Austin's sister wanted to get the last of her senior pictures finished up so we took a little day trip to Eureka Springs and it was so beautiful out, the perfect spring day! We stumble across this painted bus and couldn't stop snapping pics of all of us because it was too dang cute!
I'm kind of loving bright red lately, especially with white and I'm so in love with this ruffle top from Olive & Pepper. I also saw these oval, mod sunnies on their site and new I had to wear them together :) They just turned One so head over to their website for up to 30% off your order! Everything is so fun and you can find the perfect unique items to add to your wardrobe without spending a crazy amount.
