Persoanlity pics? :)

Love me some fall flowers! Okay, any flowers but I'm ready for a change of scenery and weather here. It's been non stop upper 80's but all I want to do is wear denim and sweaters!! This jumpsuit, however, is holding me over because it's so stinking cute and comfortable! It comes in this black chambray and blue. Also it's on sale!!! It will be so cute with a tee or sweater underneath it once it finally cools down a bit.

I started out my Saturday with brunch at Arsaga's Depot and ordered biscuits and gravy, which I don't normally order but I was in the mood. I get it and it's no joke orange colored gravy. I was like whatever they like to make things a little different here I'm going to be adventurous. It was good, don't get me wrong, but who puts jalapeños in a traditional southern breakfast gravy with whatever else that makes it orange!? All we could do was laugh because that's what I get for switching up my regular foods all the time. I like to try new things okay!?

This fall I am teaming up with Timex in promising to take time to really be present in everyones lives around me, even mine. I want to challenge you guys to do so as well by remembering to take time and enjoy all the special moments, even the little ones like my orange gravy brunch date with Austin :) Time is the most valuable thing we have, we might as well not miss any of our life's most cherished moments! Timex sent me this beautiful rose gold watch and I can't stop wearing it! It is so light and comfortable, with the perfect touch of glamour! It also comes in blue and gold, super cute :)

I love wearing casual dresses when it's so hot outside because I'm actually more comfortable. For some reason a plain dress to me can be nicer that a really cute top, then I can dress for whatever I need to! This dress is so soft and stretchy but so flattering; major plus points in my book! I'm also obsessed with these earrings from the Anna and Ava collection at Dillard's and they actually aren't too heavy! Also, PS Dillard's normally has their extra 40% off sale at the end of this week (Wed-Sat)!!!

I'm obsessed with yellow this season! Every item I come across online that is yellow I want to click and buy. When I came across this Who What Wear dress at Target I had to get it and then I had a vision on myself running though some yellow wildflowers, and here we are!! I ended up adding the red belt because it was just a little too big on me but I liked the pop of color. I had quite the mission to find a field like this but as I was tagging along with one of Austin's shoots, we passed it and I probably squealed a little too dramatically like I always do in the car and give drivers a quick heart attack.

​All of the Who What Wear collection at Target right now is to die for! Perfectly on trend, perfectly priced! I could buy every single item if they had my size but it sells out so stinkin fast! Shoes, skirts, everything! For this shoot I pulled out my newKat Von D lip liner and used it for a full matte lip. The color is Lolita and a great darker rose color, even for spring.

Quick life update: It's finally sunny today!! Exactly what I needed for the first day of May, also how is it May already!? Friday was my senior final fashion show and was seriously a dream and my model was beyond beautiful!! Check her out on my Twitter :)

How cute is this little yellow door!?

Little life update! Sundays... the perfect day to lounge all morning, eat pancakes, watch She's the Man, and go out for coffee. This last weekend, I watched a little too much tv, but I think that is just what I needed. Last night I got to spend some sweet time with my best girlfriends that are in town for spring break and of course we ate at Table Mesa... our favorite downtown spot! Nothing like some girl talk with some incredible woman that I have gotten to see grow so much over the years :) Also, happy International Women's Day, babes support your babes!

I could wear this Free People Sacramento tee so many different ways, it might get over worn. Over a button up, with a denim skirt or shorts, with a lacey bralette, or as a pj top! Pretty much anytime, anywhere. That's how I feel about most Free People basics. You can never go wrong! These high waisted jeans from GAP are also my new go-to because some of my shirts are cropped style and I don't want to reach up and have my stomach showing! I can move freely in them and they still look good!

It's was 80 degrees and pretty much a never ending wind gust here in Fayetteville today. When Austin and I went to go shoot this outfit, my hair was curled in a half up bun, but it was so crazy windy that it all ended up in this crazy bun! His idea actually :) Then of course we ended the evening with some Mexican food, our favorite if we have to admit.  

The sunsets have been my favorite lately, such light and rich pinks! I came across this quote one time that I always think of when I'm overcome by a sunset's beauty.

The transition from Winter to Spring is always fun for me. I am always so eager to ditch the winter clothes and layers for dress and jumpers and shorts that I probably dive in too early. I have to make myself start with springy patterns and colors before I take off the layers because I'm such a cold body. One way I start the transition is by keeping the booties and light jackets but pairing them with a lighter weight dress or skirt. This romper is so fun with the cross cross back but is more for summer so I paired it with this BCBG overlay to keep covered up (no thanks to the wind). I love all of BCBG's pieces because I can always find something specific to my feminine style!

We couldn't stop laughing because when we put the straws in, the fizz wouldn't stop overflowing! So weird!

Here is the other half from our shoot the other day with Ashton; all the reds! I loved getting professional pictures with Austin because half the time it's just one or the other of us in the picture. We made a promise to start taking more together and I can't wait to start sharing them with you all!  On Valentine's Day it rained all day long. The prefect day to just stay in and be cozy, even though that didn't happen. Austin and I had a great afternoon and evening just out and about, an early movie, a quick BBQ dinner, and ended the day at the gym. Just about a perfect day for us :)
 
I love me some matching. We do it all the time on accident and will show up somewhere wearing basically the same tee or same exact color. This was intentional but of course so fun and cute! I wear this flannel tunic all the time because it has a little more style than the average flannel button-up. It's easy to dress up or down depending on what I am doing.

It is HARD for me to find the right size maxi dress! Either too long, too short, too wide... this one is perfect when I add the belt to it and makes me look so much taller and accentuates my waist (or else I look swallowed). I love how the slit is up the middle instead of the side because then it's way easier to walk. Shop our looks below!
