Happy Monday loves! This weekend was the perfect little taste of the heat lifting and what I look forward to for fall. With that comes the transition of warm days and cool nights, what to wear when you don't have time to go home and change?! Especially once school starts up and it's always an icebox in the classrooms. I have one semester left to deal with this, but lets face it, I'll always be cold inside most buildings ;)
Well, I teamed up with TOBI to share some of my favorite ways to transition from summer to fall. Keep coming back each day this week to see a different ways I have styled some of their cutest pieces! This dress is sooo soft and slightly longer in the back, which I love because I worry about some dresses getting too short in the back with my booty. Wear it by itself during the day and add a jacket to go out at night and you are good to go! My usual pairing with a tee shirt dress is also sneakers such as my leather Converse. I also like to add nice, simple jewelry to keep the look balanced but a little nicer. This dress is also great for going from sneakers to heels, perfect for a girls night out after work or class! Thank you so much TOBI for sponsoring this post!! XOX More to come!! Shop how I accessorize this dress by clicking on the pictures below!

I love wearing casual dresses when it's so hot outside because I'm actually more comfortable. For some reason a plain dress to me can be nicer that a really cute top, then I can dress for whatever I need to! This dress is so soft and stretchy but so flattering; major plus points in my book! I'm also obsessed with these earrings from the Anna and Ava collection at Dillard's and they actually aren't too heavy! Also, PS Dillard's normally has their extra 40% off sale at the end of this week (Wed-Sat)!!!
I have today off so be looking for some new fun things coming up on Instagram and the blog this week! xo Haley
Lauren Moshi Smile tee / Skirt / Shoes- Similar here / Bag
Lipstick (Sugared Grapefruit) / Necklace $3.90!!!
I love dressing down a skirt for daily wear with either sandals or fun sneakers or with a tee. I got this skirt while in NYC from H&M and it has pockets! Win! Normally midi skirts make me look a little short but this one hit at all the right spots. I am also obsessed with this tee from Lauren Moshi, the cutout in the back is what makes it extra cute. Basically if I was a tee shirt, it would be this one haha ;)
Yesterday I went to my first barre class, yeah I know people would think I do this since I used to dance. But I loved it! I was a little nervous because some people say there isn't really much ballet to it, but I had an instructor that used to dance and she worked all of those deep muscles that I haven't used in a few years! However, I figured I would be a little sore today and I can't really feel it... sooo I don't really know what to think of that. I just need to make a goal to find ways to switch up my gym routine at least once a week to keep from getting bored. Have a great week and don't miss out on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! XX Haley
SWIM SUIT / SUNGLASSES (Similar) / NAIL POLISH
This one piece was $25!! What!!!?!? I searched everywhere and could NOT find one to fit me that I actually liked. I was too scared to order because I knew it would take too many returns. My struggle is that I'm an XS with a size small height for a one piece, so basically impossible right? Anyways, on vacation we went into Cotton On and I decided to give it one more try and found this little pink number on sale :) So for all you petite girls out there, I would totally recommend looking at these. I also really liked this strappy one. Remember when wearing a one piece was so lame, like five years ago? I honestly don't think I ever owned one except for when I was a little kid, which is probably why I really struggled to find one I loved that wasn't too basic. Give me a cute suit, fun sunnies, and a good book and I could stay at the beach all day. Walk a little, get in the waves for awhile and listen to the shore, now that equals the perfect lazy day :) Right now I am re-reading Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and I forgot how inspiring and good it is! I feel like every woman should read this book (once as a teen and once as an adult). Have a happy & sunny week!! XX Shop similar looks below!
Good evening and happy Saturday! I am just getting back from the beach and ready for the holiday weekend! I found the perfect tee for the 4th of July from Alternative Apparel, and better yet, it's not so crazy patriotic that you only wear it once a year (you know the shirt I'm talking about). I decided to pair it with my new favorite Adidas Iniki shoes to add a little blue and stripe haha! I'm obsessed and wear these all the time when running around town. Basically if you see me out and about I'll either have on adidas sneakers or some kind of heel. There isn't much in between most days. These sneakers are perfect for wearing with a cute tee or super casual dress or to the gym!
Not sure of my plans for the 4th yet this year other than, of course, seeing the fireworks and probably baking something with blueberries. They are always pretty spontaneous because it seems to rain most years! I also feel like I have so much tv time to catch up on, even though I really don't watch too much. Just like two episodes of Jane the Virgin and the newest season on Scandal, which I just found out was on Netflix! I hope everyone has a fun filled holiday weekend and thanks for stopping by! Share your favorite 4th of July styles on Instagram with me and hashtag #haleysdailies XO |
