Whether you are a frequent flyer or only fly once in a while, deciding what to wear for comfort, going through security, and what to bring along can be a difficult decision! Flying in fashion just makes it that much easier and more fun.
Here are my top items to bring along for a day of airport stress and even relaxation!
Trendy Sneaks
I am all about being comfy while traveling, but not feeling cute can be a drag. Thats why I like to pair a stylish pair of sneakers (NOT my gym sneaks!) with skinnies for a day en route through the airport. Also if you're running to catch your flight, this makes it so much easier ;)
Hat Head
Don't worry about that crazy nap hair, hide it! Cover it up with a fun ball cap and you are ready for take off! By taking it with you, you won't have to worry about ruining it in your luggage. Check out Urban Outfitters awesome selection of trendy ball caps before running around trying to find the cute ones you see on Pinterest.
Backpack carry-all
This can count as your "personal item" and you also get the carry-on so that allows you to bring that extra sweatshirt you can't live without. Always pack essentials in your personal or carry-on because you never know where your luggage might or might not end up. Tooth brush, glasses, an extra change of clothes and anything else to make traveling more fun like a good magazine or book :)
Cozy up
I get SO COLD on planes! And just sitting around waiting to board... Bring a cozy and long cardigan to cover up your arms and legs without having to touch the plane blanket (ewe!) or having to keep up with your own.
Sound asleep
Sleeping or trying to block out that snorer beside you... noise canceling headphone and a MUST!! Tune out the rest of the plane noise during your flight or the hustle and bustle of the airport around you on a delay or layover.
Timer Turner
Don't bother with having to pull out your phone every five minutes to check the time! It's too much of a hassle when running around or going through customs and security. Go with an easy to read watch thats sure to amp up that jet set style!

I had a little fun playing with these products! Did nothing with the lighting in these photos- it was all the makeup!
I have been trying to branch out more by trying new kinds of makeup and these goodies from Estée Lauder sure hit the spot! I was so excited when I got an email that these products were on their way for me to try. I received four awesome products for my review: Beam Team Hydrate + Glow, The Barest Lip Color, Pore Vanishing Stick, and the Flash Illuminator. All of these products and more from the collection can be found at Sephora! BEAM TEAM HYDRATE + GLOW: Oh, how I love this shimmery boost of glow! It gave me a little extra boost of bronze with out drying me out or making my skin feel oily! The little bit of shimmer was perfect and not too overpowering. It was easy to apply and felt great on; the perfect finishing touch for that summer glow :) THE BAREST LIP COLOR: You guys know I love a good lipstick, who doesn't!? I was a little wary of the color I received since it was so dark and I am so fair toned. However I do have pretty good tan right now so I was excited to try it out. The color name is Nude Scene 06, the darkest of the collection. It went on so smooth and easy for a dark lip color, I was quite impressed. This color would be perfect for an elegant event, very chic! Not to mention how white it made my teeth look ;) This lipstick has muru muru butter and real flower petal waxes in it for a sheer coverage or for a full-on nude scene! PORE VANISHING STICK: I was most excited about this one and very please by the results! It did exactly what its called for, my pores vanished! I used it on my nose and chin, before any other makeup, where I have larger pores and it blurred the look of them. It also helps to minimize shine and oil which is great for these humid summer days. FLASH ILLUMINATOR: I was skeptical and excited about this one as well since I do have oily and sensitive skin. I was given the Spot Light 01 for this so it could be used by all skin tones. It highlights the areas you want more prominent such as temples and cheek bones. It definitely showed in pictures and gave me that extra glow of a fresh face and great nights sleep, even if I don't get one! It felt light on and was super easy to apply. Thanks to Influenster for complimentary hooking me up with this Estée Edit! All opinions are my own. My makeup bag is by Joyn and 100% handmade in India! I fell in love with Joyn after my sister gifted this to me- the purpose and story behind Joyn is for "Fashioning a better life." They help provide education, steady jobs, medical, meals, and so much more to those they help support. I love it! Here is the link to the bag. Go check them out! XO- Haley |
