I'm all about some dainty details with my jewelry. What I love even more? Adding a statement piece and completing my look down to every little ring. When you see someone that just looks like they have it all figured out and they always look so put together, take a look at their jewelry. That's almost always the finishing touch that perfects an outfit. One of my favorite brands for mixing and matching jewelry is Gorjana! Whether you love rose gold, silver, or classic gold they have the perfect items from dainty to statement with the perfect luxe look. I'm also obsessed with my new Arlo and Joy necklace with this blue crystal. They have amazing, one-of-a kind type pieces that go so well with all my Gorjana ones :)
Here are some of my favorite pieces I wear to finish off every look! ![]()

One of my New Year's resolutions this year is to create a neutral, mini capsule wardrobe for each season. When I cleaned out my closet the other day I realized this would be harder than I thought. I LOVE color! It brightens up my day and often times completes the perfect outfit. However, at other times, I find myself struggling to find classic outfits I can mix and match on a day-to-day basis.
The reason I decided to do a “mini capsule” is so that I can throw in my more color and printed pieces with my neutrals and it will help expand my wardrobe’s potential. Here are a few easy steps on how to create your own personal mini capsule wardrobe!
1.) Decide on a daily color palette to base it off of
I love shades of beige and will always be a grey girl! You will be shopping for your missing staple items in these colors.
2.) Find your staple styles for each season
For me this would be different types of turtleneck sweaters and skinny jeans for fall and winter; more of a French, casual style. During the warmer months I thrive off of dresses and mini skirts. Once you know what you are more likely to grab off the hanger on a rushed morning, you can shop for styles that will mix and match in your “capsule palette.” For example, I also wear a lot of different pinks. I love how these Free People pants are almost neutral, still bring color into my outfit, but I can wear a lot of different solid tops with them to switch it up.
3.) Instead of Prints, gravitate towards texture
I’m not saying you have to throw out your prints, because those are your accent pieces! What I am saying though, is that having solid textures or monochromatic prints helps you mix and match more. One great thing about sweater styles right now is all of the different weaves that are perfect for adding detail to your look. Find a nice pair of textured pants you can wear to the office with a blouse but can change into a fitted top with those same pants when you head out for dinner.
Just because it’s a capsule wardrobe doesn’t mean it has to be boring and basic, it just means it has to fit your current wardrobe to elevate and expand it! Happy capsuling ladies!! ;) XX Haley ![]()

Today I wanted to hop on here and talk about finding balance in your life. It's so, so important to make this a priority in your life. Even small steps toward balance can bring you happiness and content. The other day I heard a quote that really hit home with me: "Balance is not something you find, it's something you create." Here are a few tips on how to create more balance in your daily life: 1.) Health: Not just physical health, but mind and spirit too! Give yourself a break when you feel like life has been getting crazy, even if you have to just give yourself some alone time from the world. This helps me refresh more than anything! I don't always eat super healthy, but I don't always eat take out. If I felt bad about what I ate earlier in the day, I try to make sure I find time to hit the gym. If I eat super healthy the next day, I sometimes give myself a break. My favorite way to balance healthy eating is by eating a healthy breakfast and lunch and then enjoying myself at dinner after a long day (but not going too crazy haha). 2.) Work: Having a good work life balance is super challenging when you don't draw a line. I'm that girl that would rather be early or on time to work than roll in late and have to stay at the office late finishing things up. I take time management seriously so that when I'm out of the office I can do whatever the heck I want and not have to worry about what I needed to finish! 3.) Setting Goals: At the beginning of each week, I sit down and write down my goals for the week in my agenda planner. Gym goals, blog goals, even me time goals. Being able to check off a list helps me to accomplish things and keeps me reminded of why I wanted to do a certain thing in the first place. Setting realistic goals is also incredibly important; sometimes you just need to start with your priorities. Creating balance is hard, but with baby steps, your growth as an individual leads to security in your mental peace and well being. Try and start tomorrow with one part of your balance, and see how it slowly brings peace into every aspect of your life! You've got this girl! XX Haley Two words: Platform oxfords. How fun are these!? Madden Girl partnered with the up and coming artist Ezi to encourage individuality and fun when wearing your own style. She recently released a few new songs, one including DaNcing in a Ro0m, that I can't stop listening to! It's such a bop and her voice is seriously amazing! She is the premiere artist on Steve Madden’s record label 5 Towns Records, and has made a name for herself in the music industry. Go check her out right now! Or right after your read this whole post and watch my video at the end ;) She's on tour right now and it ends in January so don't miss out because Ezi is gonna be huge! ![]() I'm always looking for fun but comfortable shoes that I can wear anywhere from work, to date night, or a fun night out and Steve Madden is always my go to! The Madden Girl X Ezi collection is the perfect fit. I think I also need the snake skin booties and pink sneaker for my closet this fall and winter. Honestly I could wear these comfy shoes year round! They can be styled SO many different ways. These platform oxfords, for example, I will be wearing with jeans, business pants, skirts, and dresses. Also, who doesn't want to be a few inches taller on a daily basis!? What I love about this line is that anyone can easily express their own style and individuality through just the shoes. Madden Girl is the sister brand of Steve Madden with a little bit of edge and youthful spirit, just like Ezi. She's not here to conform to a specific look or lifestyle, but inspiring girls to make a life for themselves that is fun and beautiful in their own way. Something I always try to embrace in my own life within myself and my brand. Go check them out here and go check out Ezi's newest releases! This post is sponsored by Steve Madden and Her Campus Media. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Haley's Dailies possible! XX Haley |
