My next trick to learn and perfect with my hair is seriously how to blow dry with the brush. I will probably always struggle with this because it's too much for my hands to handle. Maybe with this smaller one, it will be easier! I so envy the people that can blow dry their hair with a brush like a blow out and then not have to straighten or do anything else after. Mine always gets weird haha. More to come, we shall see if I can ever perfect the hair stylist trick :)
Thank you DIY Stylist for sponsoring this post! May my hair never be weird again while travling!
I've found the one whom my sole loves.
Wow, okay, that was dramatic (but also true). But really ladies!!! These white leather sneakers from Cariuma are the bombbb!! The perfect piece to add to your fall transition wardrobe. Honestly I'd even wear these with shorts or a little tee shirt dress. I love a good white sneaker and this is actually my first high top pair. Will I convert?? Maybe!
They seriously are so incredibly comfy, and as a high top, they don't rub my ankles (which for me is a major must). I have the OCA High Off White Premium Leather but they come come in so many different styles and colors such as canvas, suede, and they have men's styles too. All of their sneakers are handcrafted with premium materials and made responsibly. Not only are their shoes sourced ethically, but their packaging and shipping has the planet in mind- recycled materials and carbon neutral. LOVE THAT!
Cariuma, all the way from Rio, Brazil, you make a mean sneaker and I'm a fan :))))
Thank you Shopstyle & Cariuma for sponsoring this post!
Everyone: Fall where you at!?
Me: Summer where did you go!?
I'm actually super excited for fall, see ya next year summer. I get more excited about fall every year! This year especially, I was actually ready for it a few weeks early. It's just been so hot and muggy here that I'm ready for a change. I also get way more inspired to style fall clothes and layer than other seasons. Don't get me wrong, spring and early summer is my favorite but I sure am ready for the beautiful leaves, pumpkins, and cozy coffee dates! (Not gonna lie, I was that girl that got the PSL on the first day they had it--- however it was unintentional!)
I've even had a few pairs of fall shoes and sweaters for awhile now that I've been dying to break in. I love all of the colors that are showing up in fashion for this season. All of the golden yellows, shades of mauves and jade green, so pretty! This weekend Austin and I are taking our engagement pictures and I think it will be the perfect time to break out some of the new fall clothes and jewelry.
Happy Fall, come on sweater weather!!
Sometimes I get in a rut of my fitness schedule. I get tired of my same old gym, and I of course get tired of my workout clothes. Now that the weather is cooling off in the evenings I am trying to make an effort to spend some time being active outside and soaking up some fresh air! Last week I made a promise to myself I'd switch it up starting with a run downtown and around the square and I was so happy I did. It just changes up your perspective a little bit and is so much more entertaining to have a little bit of change on your run.
This morning, I went to my favorite yoga class to start my weekend. I lovvveee this lady's class. There is always only like 7 of us since it's at 9:30 on a Saturday. She's Russian and so hardcore but I LOVE it!! She always starts out asking who wants to push themselves and play or be more relaxed but she always ends up doing a super fun and difficult class- not that I'm that good or anything. But that's what I love about yoga, you can kinda make it how your body needs it! Such a great way to stretch & breath out a work week of stress and just connect with your body.
I'm loving this nude top (ON SALE!) from Athleta right now and basically anything neutral in my closet for Fall. I'm also obsessed, of course, with these olive green leggings from LuluLemon! The align pant is always my go-to because they just suck you in and are so stretchy and comfy to wear around the house and to the gym.
Tomorrow bright and early I am off to NYC for work and I cannot wait to soak up all the energy of the city, catch up with one of my best friends from college, and see Wicked!!
Happy Saturday friends, XX Haley
Linen obsessed!!! Especially somewhere warm and humid like in the Florida Keys! On our trip to Florida a few weeks ago awe took a couple days to drive down south to the Keys. Boy oh boy I'll never get over that crystal blue water down there. I could stare out the window the entire time during the drive and never fully soak it all up.
But boy was it hot! That's why I wore this super fun linen dress from Farm Rio! I love how vibrant all their prints are and soooo soft/comfortable! I love what they embody as a brand. Created in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, their mission is to create and embrace happiness. To enjoy loud colors, embrace hugs often, and soak up all the sun you can. That's my kind of life!!
They just launched their fall line and I'm eyeing so many pieces. I'm obsessed with their Stardust Slip Dress, Mixed Leopard Skirt, and the Jungle Cashew Mini Dress!
Thanks Farm Rio for sending me this pretty dress! XX Haley
