The few warm days here and there in-between majorly cold days are giving me life!! It'll be like 30 degrees and snowing and then by the weekend 50 and it's got me all sorts of confused and ready for spring. Even the birds lately have been chirping extra in the mornings. I ran out this morning to do a little shopping and get some more sweaters (by Feb I'm always sick of my winter clothes) and only wanted to look at all the new spring dresses. I settled for a silk midi skirt and a sweater with a sheer puff sleeve for an event this weekend and can't wait to wear it and show you all!
If I could live the rest of my life in one brand though, it might just be Spell & the Gypsy. Like seriously. Straight out of Australia, the brand is everything I could ask for. Light, flowy pieces that are feminine and a bit boho. GOALS! I'm so ready to break this jumpsuit back out as soon as I can. It's going to be so cute with a denim jacket, with sneakers, sandals, or a platform. You can now shop their collection online at Largo Drive (another one of my favorite boutiques)! Get some Spring inspiration and get shopping loves!!
Thank youLargo Drive for this amazing jumpsuit!!
Happy Galentine's Day!!
One of my local blogger friends hosted THE cutest Galentine's Brunch two weeks ago and I'm still not over all the sweet details. I made a promise to myself to get more involved with local influencers and get to know more like-minded girls around me and I'm so glad I am! We could have all sat there and talked about blogging for way too long but enjoyed every second haha.
When I am bored and iced in the house with nothing else to do, I guess it's time to play dress up and cozy in for the day. I get so bored being home all day, even just for one day. Unless it's on a work day and we are snowed in (which NEVER happens) I am fine. Just something about being stuck inside when I could be out doing things on the weekend. Not that I will ever pass up some extra snuggle time with Maui.
This H&M sweater might just be my favorite. Ever. I need it in every single color. It's the perfect "over-sized" style but not overwhelming on my petite figure or scratchy on my sensitive skin. Perfectly paired with my favorite pants this season from Urban Outfitters, I could be an outfit repeater in this one way too often! Or switch it up. I love this sweater with a midi skirt or high waisted jeans of basically any fit. Such an easier sweater!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead wrapping up January 2020.... HOW? WHAT!? Time flies!!
Thanks to Birdies for Sponsoring this post! *all opinions are my own*
Already planning my next trip to NYC this spring and I can’t wait!! And guess what shoes I’m packing?! Yep, my Birdies. I’ll have to survive long days of standing and power walking through the concrete city and these will be perfect. They are just SO comfortable! They seriously feel like you are wearing slippers with their exclusive 7-layer comfort technology.
From the office to drinks, I can keep these on and spice up my outfit while still staying comfy. I seriously love these cheetah calf hair Starlings! I can wear them with even more than I thought I could. So cute with jeans or dress pants and will be great to wear with dresses for work once it warms up a bit (Spring where you at?!?). I think my next pair will be a slide on with velvet or pom pom, I mean sooooo cute & sassy!!
Each pair comes with an easy travel bag so that storing them is easy and makes them easier to keep them in your car or in the closet. Which honestly, I need so bad. My shoes just somehow get out of control so easily! Bless you Birdies.
Thank you to Birdies for sponsoring this post, walk comfy my friends!
Now that the temperature has officially dropped here in Arkansas, I will take everything I can to keep myself warm! I spent the last weekend out in these Lugz boots and did NOT take them off. It was in the 30's all weekend and nasty, drizzly out, and then snowy on Monday. I also, got so many compliments on them; not your average bootie! Maybe I should get all my girls a pair for Christmas with all of the different styles they offer...?!?
The soft pink, water-resistant faux leather color is so me and the faux fur collar at the top is soooo soft, the perfect winter touch. I'm usually a size 7 (they fit perfect) and sometimes can wear a 6 1/2 in shoes. For these I would recommend going up a half size if you are wanting to wear thicker socks for winter.
I love how comfy they are with their Flexastride Memory Foam insole and won't have to worry about falling on my slippery sidewalk outside my apartment with the slip-resistant rubber sole lol. I've been wanting a warm, hiking style bootie like this and I'm just obsessed!
The Empire Hi Fur Bootie has a lot of great features with a surprising price of just $69.99!!
Keep your shoe collection right on trend with the Empire Hi Fur bootie from Lugz. This lace-up features a water-resistant finish and a slip-resistant rubber sole that you can pair with anything from jeans to sweater dresses! You can shop the entire collection at your (select) local DSW store or online!
A big thank you to Lugz for sponsoring this post & supporting Haley's Dailies!
Stay warm friends! XX Haley
Finding what to wear to your Bridal shower is a bigger task than I thought it would be. Everything out there that is white tends to look too summery and is a sun dress or it could literally be a simple wedding gown. Not that either of those looks are wrong for a shower, depends on the feel and venue.
HOWEVER, my shower is going to be in February. The coldest of cold for Arkansas. So naturally, I ruled out wearing a dress, or at least a short one. I wanted something different to wear. Not that same old embroidered lace dress or fitted midi dress. Something I could be comfortable in no matter where the shower will be thrown or who I’m with, but want to look classy and very much a bride like.
Here’s where I tell you where to find the perfect piece… BHLDN! I’ve always. I mean literally ALWAYS, have loved their style and store. They offer amazing pieces from Wedding dresses, bridesmaid dress, accessories, lingerie, to Mother of the Bride dresses and party dresses. When Austin and I were in Seattle last winter, I was shopping in Anthropologie and they had a BHLDN boutique upstairs so I drug him up there with me to sneak a peak and you know drop a hint ;)
I came across this white tie up jumpsuit and bout fell over. THIS WAS IT! The perfect piece for me! Easy to wear, I’m obsessed with jumpsuits, and the ties are the perfect feminine touch that I wanted. Easy to style and make it my own with accessories and of course I had to pair it with a little something blue in my shoes. I love it so much, you might even see it come up at some other point along the engagement or even wedding... stay tuned!! :)
Thank you so much to BHLDN for sponsoring this post!
