NWA Ladies (& gents if you found yourself here)!!! I've teamed up with Tonya Nash at Simplee Skin in Bentonville to re-set my skin and get it as healthy as we possibly can, and especially wedding ready in August! We are using all DMK skincare to help re-build my skin barrier. Something I have been learning for the last few months is that if you use too harsh of chemicals or products on your skin, it can strip down your protective barrier of your skin. This can cause your skin to dry out and over-produce oil, therefore lead to more breakouts. We are tackling this with a few very specific treatments at her salon and at home products.
(Next time I will be adding on either the Muscle banding or the Alkaline Peel so stay tuned!!)
- Enzyme Therapy - I loveeee how this makes my skin feel after and for the next couple days.
It offers natures biological catalyst to: Hydrolyze dead cells, Increase Oxygenation into the skin, increase cellular activity, encourage new collagen and elastin, AND detoxifies the skin. So many benefits!
- Post therapy cleanse & hydration
What this treatment is good for: Aging, acne, pigmentation, and scarring
My Morning & Night Routine:
After a few weeks so far, my skin feels and is starting to look so much healthier and more moisturized!! If you are looking for ways to treat your skin with science, and cleaner products reach out to Tonya as linked above and check out the DMK line!
XX Happy Skincare to you all!
Who else has been walking a heck of a lot more than normal? Cause same. I've been taking advantage of the nice weather here and there on lunch breaks and in the evenings to take a walk and get fresh air. Last weekend's fresh air drive around featured this cutie outfit from Everlane! I love these amazingly soft wide leg pleat pant paired with their boxy tee
They actually just released their "softest jeans ever" for only $78 and I'm soooo in! I think I'll try their wide leg fit, perfect for a light wash spring denim.
I hope you all are staying sane, doing a little online splurging if you can, and FaceTimeing all your loved ones!
I love how smooth it goes on and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or tight. Acaderma focuses on clean and effective beauty that is fragrance, cruelty, and mineral oil free. I love that this one is full of anti-oxidants, and can protect you from photo damage as we stare at our screens all day!
Did you know that your indoor air quality is sometimes worse than outside in your city?? With pets and dust, the air can really effect your skin's health. After washing your face in the morning, apply this serum before moisturizing and you are good to go!

Just because I can't go to church on Sunday for Easter, doesn't mean I won't be dress up! The perfect excuse to get dolled up, because I'm sure just like you all... I need it. It's been over 3 weeks for me and I'm not complaining about not having to wear jeans and pants everyday, but it does feel good to just get a little dressed up and leave the house. I actually put a dress on the other day to go to Walmart.... the drive through pharmacy lol!
I'm so in love with this ruffled chambray dress from Lulu's! The perfect fit and style for Easter and goes great into summer. I even think it would be cute with some little sneakers or white booties.
Right now, okay and always, Lulu's has a TON of cute spring clothing. I could buy 100 dresses from there and still have some I want left on my list. I love that for an online boutique, they offer size XS in clothing. Many boutique type clothing stores don't offer sizes other than S-L. Which means I can't shop there!!! Bless you stores that understand there's more than 3 sizes of people in this world.
Thank you Lulu's for Sponsoring this post!
Happy Easter everyone, no matter how you are celebrating!
I'm taking major advantage of evenings and weekends leaving the house to dress in something other than sweats. Even if it's just to go to Austin's or to Walmart, or take a nice walk. But let's face it, dressing up for a picture is just about it right now. I'll take it, because it's still fun!
As for work meetings, I'm trying to keep it business as usual when I need to use my zoom camera haha. As in, wear a nice top or earrings, a touch of makeup and that's about it. Being at home so much I'm realizing how I have SO MUCH clothes I really don't wear. But then, will I wear it when life is back to normal??? The question of the year right ladies?
I can't wait to go out and wear this blazer dress, or any dress honestly. Blazers are all the rage, and have been for quite a while now. I love how you can dress them up and make them super modern and chic or dress it down with denim or even a fun mini skirt or shorts. Even with this white one from Zara, I could wear with a lace cami and a pair of denim shorts. SO cute!!
Stay home & safe my friends,
