Right after he said he couldn't wait to dunk me... I don't normally like to go under in rivers and lakes because I'm just weird like that. But convinced him not too :)
So yeah, I have major sensitive skin issues, but that doesn't stop me from trying new makeup all the time to find the right balance. Influenster and Laura Mercier recently sent me their new line of Flawless Fusion makeup (complimentary foundation and translucent setting powder), which can be found at Sephora! It supposed to be super long lasting with full-medium coverage, AND for combination sensitive skin. What more could I ask for in a foundation?! It feels so light but covers so well and helps keep my face from looking oily during the day. I have the 1N2 Vanille foundation and the fair to medium powder, a perfect mix. Go check it out, they even have a travel size powder if you want to just try it out.
Happy Sunday loves! XX
I have some sweet memories of blueberry picking from when I was little with my mom and sis, taking them home, and waiting for what felt like forever for the blueberry pie to finish so I could top it off with too much vanilla ice cream. Well as it turns out, my sister's new apartment is super close to Neal Family Farm and she saw the day before that they would be open for picking the next day!! At work all day, the only thing I could think about was making some blueberry cobbler.
We got there and they also had blackberries!! Which are my favorite, so it made it all that much better! It actually takes a lot longer to fill up those buckets with those little berries, and we couldn't help but eat them as we picked.
And let's just say the entire night was a success because I wore my favorite white tee from Zara and didn't get any berry juice on it while picking and cooking :)
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend & Father's Day!
In Chinatown, I stumbled across the cutest Korean beauty store called the SAEM and I couldn't just pass by. And boy did I take advantage of being in an actual Korean beauty store! I stocked up on face masks, they have beautiful perfume scents, nail polish, and amazing youth beauty products- because it's never to late to start preventing aging and you should start using creams by the time you hit your early 20's!
They also gave me a big bag of beauty samples (because I spent too much ;) and that is my favorite!! I think it's so smart of beauty companies to give out samples because A) It's so fun B) You can fall in love with products you didn't even know you needed. I have super sensitive skin, like so bad mixed with eczema, so I struggle finding good products for my face to balance out my skin. So far, every thing I have tried has felt wonderful. My favorite (not pictured) is the Cell Renew Bio Micro Peel Soft Gel, it smells so good and makes my skin feels so soft instantly. Also, their nail polish is so cheap and it's long lasting!! I got it in the Jungle Mint and I'm obsessed. If you go to their website thesaeumus.com you can sign up and get 20% off your first purchase!
Hope everyone has a great Monday! XO
I can't believe I am just now getting this up! When I was in NY I happened to be there the same weekend of the Muses App launch and could not have been more excited to be invited! Muses is an app for bloggers and companies to collaborate and bring together new communities and friends in the blogging world. It was so fun getting to connect and meet people and brands face to face, take pictures, and grow together. I loved walking into the room and feeling that everyone there just gets each other, wanting to bring one another up in what we do. One of the brands there, Anjé Clothing, (the leather jacket I have on) was minimalistic perfection and all American-made products, which I love. They have a line that supports strong and fearless women as well! Go check them out!!
Thanks so much for having me in NYC Muses!

Happy Late Memorial Day, I hope everyone had a nice weekend off! We spent Memorial weekend at Big Cedar Lodge (crashed my parents anniversary) for a quick relaxing retreat; which I must say I needed, from being in New York for nine crazy days! I have grown up going to Big Cedar and it's kind of like my home away from home, full of quiet and relaxation, but endless outdoor adventures, or the spa if you are that kind of gal :) For some reason, I will always picture Big Cedar as a more modern version of where Baby goes in Dirty Dancing with her family so maybe that's why I love it so much. I'm really not a huge outdoors girl, but If I can catch some rays in some beautiful weather and get a tan in the process, count me in! I love kayaking because I'm in full control and it's easy haha ;) More like the perfect arm workout actually.
I really need to catch up on some of my upcoming posts since I was gone for so long, but much more coming this summer and I cannot wait! Travel, fashion, and inspiration all in the works!! Anything you want to see from me, let me know!!
Cheers to Summer 2017!!
Us perfectly described in a picture. Me- way too excited, Austin- What are you doing?? Haha!
Also, here is the link to his hat!
All the surfer vans :)
If you get the chance to even just drive through Sedona, Arizona in your life, don't skip out. The morning we were there, it had snowed apparently, by the time we got to cathedral rock it was nice and warm out; so weird but so nice! On our way to the park, we kept seeing hot air balloon baskets on the back of trucks and I can only imagine how cool that would be out there! I had no idea how rewarding the climb would be (because I have a huge fear of heights) until I truly got to the top and took in the full view. Austin always pushes me when he knows there is something I shouldn't miss out on, like going around on that ledge shown above, even though once you were on it, it wasn't small and scary haha! The view was breathtaking!! I love all of the red rock just randomly sticking up in the landscape through Arizona and yet you are also close to the mountains. Exhilarating and a day I'll never forget :)
I missed getting this up for Earth day, but one day late counts right? Our earth never ceases to amaze me, and what better way to enjoy it than by taking advantage of all of the adventures that await us! I may not be super outdoorsy, but I'm always up for a new adventure to push me or a good view/ hike. Every new place I come across my mind is blown by the beauty God created for us to live in!
Summer adventures are calling, let's finish this semester and explore!!
All of mountains were covered in these beautiful yellow wild flowers that I just wanted to run through barefoot (I would have if they weren't fenced off haha). I probably said they were "cute" way too many times, but they were! It was also crazy windy the whole week, so excuse my crazy, stringy hair! If you are going to be close to Malibu anytime soon, be sure to go to the Point Dume State Park area, gorgeous!
The entire week I felt like I wore denim denim denim on repeat, not complaining because it's one of my favorites, but it was the perfect weather for a jean jacket! Nice n' breezy ~
Happy Monday loves!
I try to do a face mask one to two times a week, either for extra moisture or for breakouts, depends on how my skin is doing at the time to balance it out. I'm going to introduce you all to a new brand of face masks looking to change your skin and the world! Seoul Mamas Revitalizing mask is for all skin types and works to hydrate and soften skin, as well as reduce the appearance of fine line and wrinkles. What more could I want out of a face mask?! It also smelled so good and left my skin feeling fresh!
The mask is made with caviar extract, apple and wild cherry extract, chamomile flower, and hyaluronic acid. I used it at night and already noticed brighter skin in the morning. It helps to reduce the look of dark spots and sun damage, which at this age I want to get ahead on preventing! Korean Beauty is gaining speed in the anti-aging world because of their unique ingredients and results, so don't miss out!
Also, 5% of all the profits go towards non-profits that support at risk children and women. Go check out their wonderful company here, and don't forget the mask! ;)
