The perfect accessory to jump into fall with - the bandana!! You can wear it in your hair, as a headband, tied on a bag, on your wrist, or of course around your neck! I think they are so cute on a tote bag, that extra little, soft touch to personalize your look. I love them paired with a different print but tie the outfit together with some matching colors, like I did with the navy and ivory. This one is from Madewell and is so soft and the perfect neutral (almost, blush is neutral right?) color!
To make it a little more interesting, I add a fun little necklace with it. I'm obsessed with this precious, adorable pearl choker I got from my bestie for my birthday. Like is that so me or what!?
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

I'm not a huge black person. It can seem dreary to me halfway through the day when I wear a full outfit of it. But I make myself buy it because I feel like I need it and it looks good on me haha. I mean it looks good on everyone!! Well this top was a winner with me! Soft and so cute with just about any bottom you want to wear. I paired it with my new favorite denim skirt (yes, it's from Abercrombie & Fitch and they do have cute clothes people!!) and my current favorite shoes from Marc Fisher. This top will also be great to wear with a fun bomber or cardigan once fall rolls around.
Don't miss the first two Summer to Fall transition posts from earlier this week!

One of my favorite things to do on a lazy afternoon is to walk around or drive through all of the new houses that are always popping up off from the square. Our favorite house downtown changes like every week. This little blue one with the adorable yellow door and wild flowers outside is seriously so cute and has our hearts for the moment!
I am obsessed with this crochet top from TOBI! It's the absolute perfect top to go from Summer to Fall. For all you black lovers, it comes in black too. It goes great with denim cut offs, mini skirts, over a slip dress, or how I wore it, with my new favorite Parker Smith straight jeans. I wore a bralette under it because I honestly forgot the tank I was going to wear under it, but I ended up liking it this way better haha :) Add a dark nude lipstick and some block heels and you are good to go! I love having neutral colors in my closet like this top because I can add any pop of color to it that I'm feeling for the day.
One more look to come this week from TOBI!
Thank you so much

Happy Monday loves! This weekend was the perfect little taste of the heat lifting and what I look forward to for fall. With that comes the transition of warm days and cool nights, what to wear when you don't have time to go home and change?! Especially once school starts up and it's always an icebox in the classrooms. I have one semester left to deal with this, but lets face it, I'll always be cold inside most buildings ;)
Well, I teamed up with TOBI to share some of my favorite ways to transition from summer to fall. Keep coming back each day this week to see a different ways I have styled some of their cutest pieces!
This dress is sooo soft and slightly longer in the back, which I love because I worry about some dresses getting too short in the back with my booty. Wear it by itself during the day and add a jacket to go out at night and you are good to go! My usual pairing with a tee shirt dress is also sneakers such as my leather Converse. I also like to add nice, simple jewelry to keep the look balanced but a little nicer. This dress is also great for going from sneakers to heels, perfect for a girls night out after work or class!
Thank you so much TOBI for sponsoring this post!! XOX More to come!!

I love wearing casual dresses when it's so hot outside because I'm actually more comfortable. For some reason a plain dress to me can be nicer that a really cute top, then I can dress for whatever I need to! This dress is so soft and stretchy but so flattering; major plus points in my book! I'm also obsessed with these earrings from the Anna and Ava collection at Dillard's and they actually aren't too heavy! Also, PS Dillard's normally has their extra 40% off sale at the end of this week (Wed-Sat)!!!
I have today off so be looking for some new fun things coming up on Instagram and the blog this week!
Lauren Moshi Smile tee / Skirt / Shoes- Similar here / Bag
Lipstick (Sugared Grapefruit) / Necklace $3.90!!!
I love dressing down a skirt for daily wear with either sandals or fun sneakers or with a tee. I got this skirt while in NYC from H&M and it has pockets! Win! Normally midi skirts make me look a little short but this one hit at all the right spots. I am also obsessed with this tee from Lauren Moshi, the cutout in the back is what makes it extra cute. Basically if I was a tee shirt, it would be this one haha ;)
Yesterday I went to my first barre class, yeah I know people would think I do this since I used to dance. But I loved it! I was a little nervous because some people say there isn't really much ballet to it, but I had an instructor that used to dance and she worked all of those deep muscles that I haven't used in a few years! However, I figured I would be a little sore today and I can't really feel it... sooo I don't really know what to think of that. I just need to make a goal to find ways to switch up my gym routine at least once a week to keep from getting bored.
Have a great week and don't miss out on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! XX Haley
